FAQs

  • Think about what is meaningful to you. Consider your interests, personal symbols, or styles you like. You can browse online, bring in your own sketches, or consult with Diego to bring your vision to life.

  • Pain levels vary between individuals and depend on the tattoo's location and size. Generally, areas with more flesh and muscle tend to hurt less than bony areas.

  • Tattoo prices depend on the size and complexity of your chosen design. The hourly rate is $250 and the tattoo session could range between 3-5 hours of work. For larger pieces multiple sittings may be required.

We provide free consultations to discuss your design and give you an accurate quote.

  • A $300 deposit is required to book a session, this holds your appointment date and time and the amount will be applied to the final cost of your tattoo. The deposit is non-refundable, however we do take extreme circumstances into account.

If for whatever reason you need to reschedule please let us know at least 5 days in advance. If you fail to advise us, do not show up or back out of session your deposit will be void.

  • Diego accepts CASH, VENMO, ZELLE or PAYPAL (8.875% taxes are added to your total for Venmo or PayPal)

We will send detailed payment instructions once you are ready to book your session.

  • The duration depends on the design's complexity and size. A small tattoo may take 30 minutes, while larger pieces can take several hours or multiple sessions.

  • You will be sent home with second-skin applied to your tattoo to keep it safe and dry. The bandage should remain on for 3-5 days. If it lifts or you notice any irritation, remove it sooner.

While waterproof, avoid soaking the tattoo, especially swimming, baths, or hot tubs. Showers are generally fine, but avoid long, hot showers and ensure the bandage is not washed off.

Sweating underneath the bandage can cause problems, so avoid intense exercise or activities that cause excessive sweating.

    After Removing the Second Skin:

    • Gently Remove: Peel the bandage off slowly, preferably under running water to ease the process.

    • Clean the Tattoo: Wash the tattoo area with lukewarm water and a mild, fragrance-free soap.

    • Dry Thoroughly: Pat the area dry with a clean, disposable paper towel or allow it to air dry.

    • Apply Lotion: Apply a thin layer of fragrance-free lotion, like Cetaphil or Aquaphor, to moisturize the area.

    • Avoid Picking/Scratching: Do not pick, scratch, or peel at the tattoo.

    • Sun Protection: Protect the tattoo from sun exposure with a high SPF sunscreen after healing.

  • No. New York and California law requires that an individual be at least 18 years of age to get tattooed.

  • We offer cover-up tattoos and can recommend laser removal services if needed. Cover-ups require careful planning and an in-person consultation to ensure that the chosen design will adequately cover the existing tattoo.

  • Yes, we adhere to strict health and safety guidelines. All needles are single-use, and we use sterilized equipment to ensure your safety.

  • Make sure to eat a good meal, stay hydrated, and avoid alcohol or drugs before your appointment. It's also a good idea to wear comfortable clothing that allows easy access to the area being tattooed.Item description
